Why You're Going To Love This Recipe

    • Easy to make - no fancy equipment required to make this cocktail recipe. Just blend, shake and serve!
    • Summer drink - whether sipping by the pool or enjoying with friends at a BBQ, this strawberry martini is the perfect summer cocktail!
    • Perfect for parties - this recipe can easily be double or tripled.
    • Conventional and Thermomix - both methods are included in the recipe card at the end of the post.

    What You Need

You need just 4 ingredients to make this fruity vodka cocktail!

Note: Scroll to the recipe card at the bottom for the ingredients quantities and full detailed method.

    • Strawberries - you can use either fresh strawberries or defrosted frozen strawberries.
    • Caster sugar - also known as superfine sugar. You can use 1 tablespoon of simple sugar syrup instead if you prefer, either bought or make your own.
    • Lime juice - I recommend using fresh lime juice to make this cocktail, however bottled lime juice is also fine to use.
    • Vodka - use any brand of vodka you like. I prefer to use Smirnoff.
    • Ice cubes - for chilling the cocktail!
Ingredients needed to make the cocktail.

    • Food processor, blender or Thermomix - for making the strawberry puree.
    • Cocktail shaker - for mixing.

    Expert Tips

    • Serve immediately after making - this cocktail is best served icy cold.
    • Straining the cocktail into the glass - removes any excess ice cubes or chunks of strawberry.
    • To serve - garnish with a fresh strawberry.
    • Use martini glasses if you have them - otherwise use any other cocktail glasses you have on hand.

    FAQs

Can I make strawberry martini using a Thermomix?

Absolutely! I have included both methods (using a blender or a Thermomix) in the recipe card below.

What is the difference between a strawberry martini and a classic martini?

A strawberry martini is made with fresh strawberry puree, vodka and lime juice, whereas a classic martini is made with gin and vermouth, and served with a green olive.

Can I make strawberry martini ahead of time?

I don't recommend making this strawberry martini recipe ahead of time as it needs to be ice cold when served. As it takes less than 5 minutes to make it really is worth making it just before serving!
