Melt & Mix Microwave Fudge Recipe
This is the easiest microwave fudge recipe... with just 2 simple steps!
Step 1 - Melt chocolate and sweetened condensed milk
Step 2 - Mix through Milo and Tim Tams
Recipe Tips
- Milo is a brand of malted milk powder. You can use any brand you like.
- Tim Tams are an iconic Australian sweet chocolate biscuit coated in chocolate. If you can't buy Tim Tams, you can use a similar substitute such as Penguin biscuits or even Oreo cookies.
- I like to use milk chocolate for this recipe, however you can use dark chocolate if you prefer.
- Use full fat (not skim) sweetened condensed milk as it sets firmer.
How To Store Fudge
This is a soft fudge recipe and therefore needs to be stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it. It can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 weeks.

What would one use if they're not from Australia? What are Milo and Tim Tams? Do you know of a good substitute?
Bake Play Smile
Milo is a malted milk drink (so you can substitute for any brand). Tim Tam biscuits can be bought in the US from Amazon, Target or World Market. Or in the UK, they are similar to penguin biscuits. 🙂

sounds like delicious fudge - I have only ever made fudge with condensed milk as the alternatives always look too fussy and besides who doesn't love condensed milk in everything

Oh my gosh, YES! This looks like a total winner to me! I don't buy Milo very often, but when I do, I really enjoy it, and seriously have to stop myself from eating way too much of it. I think I'd have to say that it's actually my favourite iconic Australian food. I'm always reminded of having it after school as a kid. When my Mum wasn't looking my brother and I would pile so much Milo into our cups, it was ridiculous (goodness only knows how we both still have all our teeth!!). Then just a tiny bit of milk and the creation was complete! They were the good old days. Now I think I'd be sick if I ate that much Milo by itself all at once, but I could most DEFINITELY go for a slice of this!! 😀
