Do you ever just have a sudden craving for dessert, but don't want to go through the extra steps of washing multiple dishes, preheating the oven, and all that jazz? Same here.

    What You Need

Note: please scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the post for ingredient quantities and the full detailed method.

Cocoa powder, flour, brown sugar, milk, and melted butter - ingredients for microwave chocolate brownies in individual bowls
    • plain flour - use plain (all-purpose) flour for this brownie recipe.
    • cocoa powder - cocoa powder is what I use, but you can use cacao powder instead.
    • brown sugar - gives the soft textures in the brownie. You can use either light or dark brown sugar.
    • butter - salted or unsalted butter is fine to use.
    • milk - I use regular full fat milk, but any type of whole milk will work for this recipe.
    • optional- cream or ice cream is optional for serving, but highly recommended.

You can use cocoa or cacao powder as a base and fold in chocolate nibs or chips to make it a little extra rich.

What can I bake in the microwave?

You can bake all kinds of things in the microwave! I like to bake cakes and make fudge in the microwave.

    Storing

If you manage to have any leftovers, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

    Freezer

To freeze these microwave chocolate brownies, simply place into airtight containers and freeze for up to three months. Allow to thaw overnight in the refrigerator when ready to enjoy again.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I removed the the microwave butterscotch pudding recipe a few years ago as it wasn't as popular as my classic butterscotch pudding recipe.
