Do you ever just have a sudden craving for dessert, but don't want to go through the extra steps of washing multiple dishes, preheating the oven, and all that jazz? Same here.

Made in just minutes, these microwave brownies are the ultimate treat for when you're looking to have a chocolate dessert 'splurge' in a hurry.

Just like with my yummy microwave fudge recipes, there's no need to turn the oven on when the dessert cravings come calling!

Cocoa powder, flour, brown sugar, milk, and melted butter - ingredients for microwave chocolate brownies in individual bowls
    • plain flour - use plain (all-purpose) flour for this brownie recipe.
    • cocoa powder - cocoa powder is what I use, but you can use cacao powder instead.
    • brown sugar - gives the soft textures in the brownie. You can use either light or dark brown sugar.
    • butter - salted or unsalted butter is fine to use.
    • milk - I use regular full fat milk, but any type of whole milk will work for this recipe.
    • optional- cream or ice cream is optional for serving, but highly recommended.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I removed the the microwave butterscotch pudding recipe a few years ago as it wasn't as popular as my classic butterscotch pudding recipe.
