Notes
RECIPE NOTES & TIPSINGREDIENTS:
Burger buns - choose hamburger buns or soft brioche buns.
Burger sauce - you can use any brand of burger sauce you like (I used Coles Special Burger Sauce). You can also use tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, caramelised onion or mustard sauce instead.
Burger fillings - I use lettuce, sliced tomato, cheese slices and pickles - but you can substitute with any of your other favourite burger filling.
OTHER TIPS:
Cooking - the patties can be cooked in a frying pan or on a BBQ grill.
Prep ahead of time - the burgers can be prepared ahead of time and stored (covered with plastic wrap) in the fridge for up to 2 days before cooking.
Storing - store any leftover cooked patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Freezing - you can freeze cooked or uncooked beef patties in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 months. If freezing uncooked patties, place a sheet of baking (parchment paper) between each patty to stop them sticking to one another. Defrost in the fridge overnight before cooking or reheating.
