RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
Tim Tam's - are an iconic Australian sweet chocolate biscuit coated in chocolate. If you can’t buy Tim Tams, you can use a similar substitute such as Penguin biscuits or even Oreo cookies.
I use milk chocolate for this recipe, however you could use dark chocolate if you prefer (you can also get dark chocolate Tim Tam's these days too!)
Chocolate 'melts' are designed for melting! Chocolate chips are not suitable in this recipe, as they are designed to hold their shape in baking - like in chocolate chip cookies!
Use full fat (not skim) sweetened condensed milk as it sets firmer.
Storing - this is a soft fudge and therefore needs to be stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it. It can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 weeks.
