Place the simmering basket into the Thermomix bowl. Tare the scales and weigh the sushi rice into the bowl. Remove the bowl and rinse the rice (still in the basket) under cold water, until the water runs clear.
Add 1000g (1 litre) of water to the Thermomix bowl. Insert the simmering basket (with the rinsed rice). Cook for 18 minutes
Pour the rice onto a large plate or bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons of sushi seasoning and stir to combine. Allow the rice to cool before using.
