For The Filling – Apples – Water – Sugar – Cinnamon – Nutmeg – Lemon Juice For The Crumble – Flour – Butter – Brown Sugar – Rolled Oats


what you'll need:


Place peeled and sliced apples in the Thermomix mixing bowl. Add the water, caster sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice. Cook for 5 minutes, 90 degrees, REVERSE, Speed 1. Drain the stewing liquid off.


Spread the stewed apples into the prepared baking dish.


Place the plain flour, softened butter and brown sugar into the Thermomix bowl and mix. Add the rolled oats and mix again. The crumble topping should not be a smooth paste, you want it to have plenty of texture!


Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the sliced apple. Do not smooth the surface! Bake in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the crumble is golden and crunchy.
