PORK SAUSAGE MEATBALLS

– Italian pork sausages – Olive oil – Minced garlic – Onion – Balsamic vinegar – Italian herbs – Diced tomatoes – Caster sugar – Water – Salt and pepper

Instructions
Cut one end of each
Italian sausage
open and squeeze the filling out into a bowl. Using damp hands, roll
meatballs
from the
sausage filling.
Fry the meatballs
in a skillet until browned all over.

Saute the
crushed garlic and diced onion
in the pan for 2 minutes or until the
onion
has softened and is translucent.

Add the
balsamic vinegar, dried Italian herbs, diced tomatoes and caster sugar
to the pan. Stir until the sauce is simmering.

Add the meatballs
back into the pan and simmer for a further 10 minutes (or until the meatballs are fully cooked through).

Season with
salt and pepper
and serve with fresh
parsley, pasta and parmesan cheese.
