60 Second Microwave Chocolate Brownies

These easy individual Microwave Chocolate Brownies are ready within minutes and filled with a delicious rich and irresistible chocolate brownie batter! Serve with cream or ice-cream for a simple last minute dessert.

Ingredients

  • 75 g (½ cup) plain flour
  • 25 g (¼ cup) cocoa powder
  • 80 g (½ cup) brown sugar
  • 75 g melted butter
  • 125 ml (½ cup) milk
  • cream or ice-cream to serve, optional

Instructions

  • Sift the plain, cocoa powder and brown sugar into a bowl.
  • Add the melted butter and milk. Mix together.
  • Divide the mixture between three microwave-safe ramekins.
  • Place them one at a time into the microwave.
  • Cook for 1 minute on 70% power (800 watts), checking after each 30 second burst. 
  • Take out of the microwave and top with cream or a scoop of ice-cream.
  • Repeat with the remaining two ramekins.

Cooking time will very much depend on your microwave, cook time may be up to 2 minutes.
Cook each brownie one at a time for 60 seconds, checking after 30 seconds.
