- 500 g Arnotts Chocolate Ripple biscuits or any type of plain chocolate biscuit
- 385 g sweetened condensed milk
- 155 g Maltesers
- ¾ cup coconut for rolling
Conventional Method
Crush the chocolate biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor, Thermomix or rolling pin.
Place the chocolate biscuit crumbs and the condensed milk into a bowl and mix together well (you might find it easier to use your hands!).
Roll the dough into heaped teaspoon-sized balls, flatten, add a Malteser to the middle and then shape into a ball to cover the Malteser.
Roll in coconut.
Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Thermomix Method
Place the biscuits into the TM bowl and process into fine crumbs on Speed 8 for 5-10 seconds. Check if there's any large chunks remaining and process again.
Add the condensed milk and mix on Reverse Speed 3 for 10 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat for a further 10 seconds or until completely combined.
Roll the dough into heaped teaspoon-sized balls, flatten, add a Malteser to the middle and then shape into a ball to cover the Malteser.Roll in coconut.
Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
