Notes

RECIPE NOTES & TIPS
  • Avocados - choose ripe avocados as they are softer and easier to mash. You can test if a avocado is ripe by giving it a light squeeze. If it squishes slightly, then it's ripe!
  • Avoid soggy guacamole by removing the seeds from the inside of the tomatoes and only using the skin and flesh.
  • Add chopped jalapenos or chillis to give the guacamole some heat! Omit the peppers/chilli if serving to children or anyone who is sensitive to spice.
  • For best results, prepare the guacamole and serve immediately.
  • If preparing ahead of time, place the guacamole into a container and pour a thin layer of lime or lemon juice over the top of the guacamole. Cover with plastic wrap and press down onto the juice. Alternatively, store in an well-sealed airtight container.
  • Store in the fridge for 3-4 days.
  • Guacamole is not suitable for freezing.
