A delicious, moist and simple apple cake recipe made with a classic butter cake base, layers of fresh apple slices, and a sweet and crunchy flaked almond topping.

Ingredients

- Apples       - Eggs - Butter        - Milk - Sugar         - Flour - Vanilla 

Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Then add eggs and milk and beat again. 

Add flour and mix together. 

Spread half the mixture into a round tin & top with half the sliced apples. Repeat with remaining cake mix & apple slices.

Top with flaked almonds and sprinkle over raw sugar

Bake in the oven at 160ºC/320ºF for 40-45 minutes until cake is cooked through.
