Now that the weather is starting to warm up (whoop whoop!!), it’s time for me to get back into making smoothies. During summer, smoothies are my go-to breakfast. They’re quick, easy and taste great. Oh and they’re healthy too… so it’s tick, tick, ticks all round!! This Healthy Banana & Berry Smoothie is one of my favourites (and probably the smoothie that gets made the most in our house).
It’s actually based on one of the Boost Juice smoothies – so you know it’s going to be yum! Unfortunately, there’s no one delivering a Boost Juice smoothie to my door each morning, so this is the definitely next best thing.
To make this delicious healthy smoothie, you’ll need a blender or a Thermomix (or similar). It doesn’t really matter what you use, as long as it can crush up the ice and frozen berries easily.
Soooo… grab a handful of frozen berries (or fresh), a banana, a bit of apple juice, a scoop of vanilla yogurt and some ice. Pop everything into your blender or Thermomix and mix together until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
This Healthy Banana & Berry Smoothie is perfect for a quick and easy breaky on the run. Simply pour the prepared smoothie into a sealable cup and take it with you to work. Deeelicious!!

Healthy Banana & Berry Smoothie
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 banana
- 1/3 cup vanilla yoghurt
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- handful of ice
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender or Thermomix.
- Mix together until smooth and creamy.
