Fabulous Foodie Fridays #75

Hi guys! Well it’s been a total whirlwind of a week since we got back from holidays… and by whirlwind I mean doing load after load of washing and catching up on a zillion emails. But it was totally worth it, because we had such a wonderful break!! Oh and a huge thank you to the gorgeous trio of Robyn from Mrs D Plus 3, Kim from Land of Zonkt and Malinda from My Brown Paper Packages who co-hosted Fabulous Foodie Fridays while I was away – you girls are the best!! I’ve loved checking out the yummy recipes from last weeks party and here are a few of my faves…

Nothing beats a good old jam and cream filled chocolate roll! I am loving this yummy recipe from The Kiwi Country Girl.

Now that the weather is warming up, these red lentil quesadillas with a pesto yogurt sauce from Dancing Through Sunday are looking like a mighty fine idea for a weekend lunch in the sun!

I really need to stop reading Sweetest Menu’s blog. Every single time I visit, I come away craving very, very naughty things like this cookies and cream rocky road. Stop being so delicious!!!

One of my favourite biscuits is a classic florentine. They’re easy, yummy and taste so darn good. Thanks to Boiled Eggs and Soldiers for reminding me that it’s been way too long between florentines.

BBQ weather is almost here (woo hoo!!) and so I’m putting these lamb koftas with feta salad from The Purple Ladle at the top of my list. Everything tastes better on a BBQ, right!?

Well it is lovely to be back with all you fabulous people – I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
