How To Make Cookie Monster Bark

This Cookie Monster Bark will be the perfect treat for your Sesame Street party! With only 10 minutes preparation time and only 5 ingredients, it’s quick easy and so yummy!

If you’re planning a Sesame Street party, you absolutely need this Cookie Monster Bark recipe in your life. It looks fantastic but is SO, SO simple! It really is the perfect addition to your party food table.

How to make Cookie Monster Bark

You will need:

  • 450g dark chocolate (or milk chocolate)
  • 340g blue candy melts
  • 1 packet edible eyes
  • 100g mini Oreos
  • 100g mini chocolate chip cookies

 

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave on 50% power for 3-4 minutes (or until just melted), stirring every 30 seconds with a dry metal spoon.
  3. Pour the dark chocolate onto the tray and spread it out with a spatula (or spoon).
  4. Place into the fridge to set.
  5. Meanwhile, chop the mini Oreos and mini chocolate chip cookies into small pieces and set aside.
  6. Melt the candy melts in the microwave on 50% power for 2-3 minutes (or until just melted), stirring every 30 seconds with a dry metal spoon.
  7. Pour the blue candy melts over the dark chocolate and spread out with a spatula.
  8. Working quickly, place the chopped Oreos and chocolate chip cookies all over the candy melts.
  9. Sprinkle over the edible eyes.
  10. Place into the fridge to set.
  11. Using a large sharp knife, cut into rough pieces and serve.

Please note that this Cookie Monster Bark will last in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week (the biscuits will soften once they’ve been refrigerated, but they’re just as delicious!).

      Hi Sammie, you can get them at almost any baking or party store (even a lot of $2 shops sell them now). I got these ones from Spotlight 🙂
